The glow worms hang from the tunnel ceiling like many shining chandeliers. Glow worms also cover the steep creek banks for twenty meters on leaving the tunnel, a spectacular view to see just half an hour after dark any night.
On-site pathways:
Pathways wander down and around the gardens with a choice of three different routes to return by. The vast garden has something new to discover each time you walk. Planted through the seasons. Short walks are also possible, as is wheelchair access.
For the more adventurous, walks can take you down the garden ridge to the banks of the Buller River, returning along the private ashpalt lane lined with large cedar trees. (nearly an hour stroll)
